The Alan Turing Institute is organizing a public conference and a series of follow-on events to assess the response of the UK’s data science and AI communities to COVID-19, with the aim of quickly publishing a preliminary report outlining lessons learnt and recommendations for future research. The public conference will take place on 24 November 2020 and will include presentations from members of the community who found themselves on the front line during the pandemic. Breakout workshop sessions for contributors to the report will begin on 25 November 2020 over a 2-week period. Dates will be announced in October.
This is an open call for anyone to participate in these workshops. The deadline for applications is 10am on Monday 12 October 2020.
