Inrupt, the startup from World Wide Web founder Tim Berners-Lee, announced an enterprise version of the Solid privacy platform today, which allows large organizations and governments to build applications that put users in control of their data.
Inrupt is an attemptingĀ to “redecentralise the Web, bringing data back into the ownership and control of web users as Berners-Lee had orginally intended using the Solid platform
Solid is a technology for organizing data, applications, and identities on the web. Solid enables richer choices for people, organizations and app developers by building on existing web standards.
