<p>The Web Science Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Southampton&nbsp;teamed up with the Web Science Trust to promote opportunities to study the new discipline of Web Science.</p>
<p>Dr Aleks Krotoski, presenter of BBC's \"The Virtual Revolution\", Professor Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the Web, Professor Nigel Shadbolt, Government Information Adviser, who are&nbsp;leading experts discussed the future of the Web and why we need to study it now.</p>
